The Meeting of Kings

$2,499.00

Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. Two male lions, part of a coalition of five male relatives, greeting each other early one morning. You can feel the tension that ripples through these coalitions of male lions at times; though what seems violent to human eyes may be nothing more than a mild disagreement or impatience between allies. These two males were part of a group of males we followed for many years named Notch and his Boys. They were formerly part of the Marsh Pride of lions who we have watched since 1977 and featured on Big Cat Week and Big Cat Live.
