Prints are shipped unframed for efficiency and quality assurance. Please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service team at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions at all.
Why do you ship your prints unframed?
The shipping of framed prints can be both difficult and expensive. Framing is also very location specific and subjective. Framing is an artform, and it’s important to match the color of your frame to the image, your space, and your tastes. Our recommendation is often an understated frame that sets the image off from its surroundings with a generous white mat.
How do I uncurl the print once it arrives?
When you remove the print from the postal tube, the print will be curled. To uncurl the print, do the following by using the postal tube and the tissue paper that comes with the print. Nothing else is needed.
– Wash and dry hands to handle the print and do not touch the print surface
– Lay the curled print that was removed from postal tube on a flat surface
– Cover the printed surface with tissue paper
– Use the postal tube that the print was shipped in
– Firmly and with care roll the covered print around the tube
– Hold the rolled print for approximately 30 seconds in the rolled position
– Unroll the print and remove the tissue paper and the print will be flattened
What is your refund policy for the Open Edition Collection?
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your print, we are happy to offer an exchange or store credit. Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of you receiving your print. In the case of an exchange, the customer is responsible for return postage. All unwanted items must be returned in their original condition, with all packaging intact. If you would like to make an exchange or a return for store credit, please contact our Customer Service team at email@example.com to obtain the return shipping address.
What is your refund policy for the Limited Edition Collection?
As all limited edition prints are made-to-order, hand-signed, and numbered, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges unless in the event of a genuine manufacturing fault. All of our products undergo high-grade professional quality control to ensure that all prints are of the highest standard. If you feel that a manufacturing error has been made, please contact our Customer Service team at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
What if my print arrives damaged?
If a print arrives damaged upon delivery, a replacement print will be made and shipped free of cost. For our limited edition prints, both the damaged print and certificate of authenticity must be returned for destruction. Because the value of limited edition prints also lies in the exact number on each print, we need to physically account for any returned print. This is to ensure our customers’ purchase and prevent an edition of 12 becoming an edition of 13. In the event of damage, our team will cover the cost of return postage. If your print has arrived damaged, please contact our Customer Service team at email@example.com for assistance.
How should I care for my print?
To care for your prints, we recommend you display them behind non-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass and protect them from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Can I purchase a print outright?
Yes, you may buy an entire edition and own the only photograph of its kind. Of course, this is assuming that it is a new piece of ours that has not yet been sold. The cost for an exclusive buyout begins at $9,900.
Do you offer corporate or bulk discounts?
Of course! To discuss corporate partnerships or discounts, please contact our Customer Service team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you allow custom orders?
Of course! If you are looking to commission an image, or perhaps looking for a specific size or an image that is not featured in our online gallery, please contact our Customer Service team at email@example.com for a custom quote.
What is the Limited Edition Collection comprised of?
Jonathan and Angela have carefully chosen a select group of images for their Limited Edition Collection. These masterworks represent the “best of the best” of the Scotts’ prestigious fine art photographs.
What paper is used for the Limited Edition prints?
Our Limited Edition Collection is printed using the highest standards in the giclée print industry. We use archival Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta 315 gsm paper, which has a wonderful texture and excellent color rendition. Each print is printed on a 12-color Inkjet printer, and printed using LUCIA and LUCIA EX pigment inks. Our prints are created using archival materials and methods to ensure long-lasting prints. For each print, an artist proof is produced and reviewed to ensure quality before it is shipped to the buyer. All limited edition prints come with a 2.5 inch white border.
Why is there only 1 dimension provided for the Limited Editions?
Our Limited Edition prints are available in 3 sizes—32 inches, 46 inches, and 60 inches. This indicates the length of the longest side. Every print will have a different width because we treat each photograph as its own entity. We do not force any of these images to be confined to any particular dimensions. Of course, if you would like to know the shortest side’s dimensions of your chosen print, please contact our Customer Services team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are the Limited Editions signed?
Yes. Each limited edition print is hand-signed by both Jonathan & Angela Scott (on the bottom right of the border) and hand-numbered. Each limited edition print also includes an embossed seal and a certificate of authenticity. This certificate is also hand-signed & numbered by both Jonathan & Angela Scott.
Why do the print prices vary for the Limited Edition Collection?
The price for each Limited Edition print is based on its specific number in the collection. There are only 12 prints available for each Limited Edition, regardless of size. Once all 12 prints have been sold, that particular photograph is no longer available for purchase as a print. As the number of prints left in the edition decreases, the price also increases to match the print’s value. If you would like to know the exact number in the edition prior to purchase, please contact our Customer Service team at email@example.com.
How long before I receive my Limited Edition print?
Shipping will happen as efficiently as possible but please allow a few months of processing time before the shipment is made. This is to allow ample time for artist proofs to be reproduced and for personalized signatures by Jonathan & Angela Scott to be completed. All of these steps are taken to ensure the quality and authenticity of your fine art purchase. Should you need your print sooner, please contact our Customer Services team at firstname.lastname@example.org for a custom quote.
